Yes, it's usually time for the drink you all love,
But, now it's a computer game you'll all hate!

Welcome! This is the world's easiest to set-up and maintain door, so,
even if you're a regular Qsd or Apple ProDos user, this won't be too hard for
you.
First, you'll need to copy all of Beer's files to a directory on your
hard drive... While in that directory, give the following command:
Copy con Beer.Cfg
Alright, now type the Sysop's name, and press enter. Then type the
board's name and press enter! Now, end by pressing ^Z (control Z, you
Numbskull) and enter. That oversimplified description was for all you Apple
users in the croud that have probably tried to install Disarm the Bomb on your
GBBS! Let's face it, it will NOT work!
Okay, add the line that follows to your Doors.Def (if you're not
installing this on your GBBS) Note, don't take my descriptions literally!

The Access level of the users who can use this door!
Okay, you're set! Check out the game, it explains how to play and the
object... And, you can try the >>>>ZecReT zYz0P C0MmaND<<<< you learned in
Disarm the Bomb! Hmmm, what will happen. Note, this game DOES NOT hang up on
the user, don't worry. Users do have to have ANSI.SYS running, and, this has
been the first attempt to write annoying games by making Mono-Ansi appear on
the local terminal and the remote when the user is in Mono-Mode (So you can
tell what mode he's in, and so I don't have to skru with buggy BIOS routines!)
One last thing, don't change my copyright string, even though the door is not
copyrighted, it will not run if you change it!
Later all,
Evan (The Great) Anderson,
12/24/91 -- Kristmas Eve: God? Who's that, you mean the guy that wrote
Searchlight?
12/27/91 -- Added Sl-Like Yes-No Bars (Thanx Jim!) Tried to expand over more
of the screen, moved the beer can, added random >>SuSpEnSe<< delay,
3 random comments upon drinking the beer, removed most of the
sick looking colors and added sicker ones. Renamed to version 1.50.
12/31/91
1/ 1/92 -- Added Arrows, fixed EVERYTHING! Released!
Special Thanks to Toni Leno of the Open House BBS and
Jim Barry of the Time Vault BBS for helping me with their
Critisisms. Thanx Guys!
